Your vehicle air conditioning can assist to keep you cool in hot weather. It may also be of benefit to defrost your windscreen. It is good practice to occassionally use your vehicle AC in both hot or cold weather to aid with maintenance. Our AC recharge service tests and pressurises your AC system and if it passes the pressure test will replace the AC gas as well as the oil.
The service items should be changed either according to the mileage covered or the time elapsed since the last service, i.e. whichever comes sooner. This is also often explained in your vehicle service / maintenance book.
As a general rule depending on the vehicle age or mileage covered, you would alternate between a full service at one service interval then do an interim service at the next service interval then revert back to a full service thereafter.

Regardless of the service level required, we do not just ‘change a few filters and the oil and wave the car goodbye’ as this is only the ‘under bonnet engine side’ of the service but there are many more vehicle items that need to be inspected and reported.
